A multi-skilled Producer and Director, I’ve worked on a variety of popular fact-ent formats largely for the BBC and Channel 4, most recently working on ‘Celebrity Painting Challenge’ for BBC1.
Other shows have included the Channel 4 programmes ‘George Clarke’s Old House, New Home’, ‘Best of Both Worlds’ and ‘Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas’ as well as a pilot for a new consumer show for Channel 5 with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
I’ve also worked on the internationally renowned series 'Escape To The Country’ - scripting, directing and shooting more than fifty episodes over the last few years (60 min and 45min).
This wealth of experience allows me to work easily with on-screen talent and means I’m comfortable directing multiple cameras on location, always with the edit in mind.
As well as working with PSC crews I'm also a visually creative multi-skilled self-shooter in my own right, with particular skill shooting on cameras such as the Sony FS7, F5, F800 and the PMW-200 series as well as on the Canon XF305 / C300.
Substantial time in the edit, as well as being an experienced scriptwriter, means I can also write interesting and entertaining v/o and natural-sounding PTCs with ease and pitch my work to suit the presenter and audience.
In addition I'm comfortable interviewing and directing inexperienced contributors as well as professional / celebrity talent and as a story-producer I’m experienced at keeping on top of multiple storylines in an editorially sound manner.
